The Town Hall is open Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. There are certain holidays during the year when we are closed: New Year’s Day; Martin Luther King Day; President’s Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Veterans’ Day; Thanksgiving Day; and Christmas Day.
We do provide a free notary service for our citizens. We have certain staff members that are Notary Public . Please call first to make sure one is available.
Yes, we have a 2% sales tax. Yavapai County sales tax is 6.35%. If you purchase an item from a business in Dewey-Humboldt area you will pay the combined sales tax of 8.35%.
There is no business tax or license required to do businesses in Dewey-Humboldt. However, there is a zoning requirement if you plan to run your business out of your home. If you are unsure, please contact our Planning department at 928-632-7362.
